Amicus Chambers is an exclusively family set of barristers chambers. We are based in Middlesbrough on the North Eastern Circuit.

Our barristers collectively have a wealth of experience together with specialist legal expertise in all areas of family law. A number of our barristers have formerly practised as Solicitors, all to a very successful standard.

We aim to provide the highest standard of advocacy and pride ourselves on our integrity. We work closely with Solicitors with whom we have worked for many years. We consider that professionalism is important but that it must be allied with an accessible and professional approach.

Instructing a barrister in our Chambers will provide the assurance that there is a means of support from the knowledge and experience of other members but with the security of safe and reliable returnability if needed.
