Practice
Jack has acted for Local authorities, parents and children in public law proceedings, including contested final hearings and interim hearings.
Further he has gained experience acting for parents in private law disputes including finding of fact hearings and final hearings. Jack also appears in relation to of non-molestation and injunction applications.
Jack also has experience in first appointment and financial dispute resolution appointments in financial proceedings related to divorce. Further he has delivered training to solicitors around Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989.
Prior to commencing pupillage Jack worked for various Citizens Advice Bureau’s gaining a great deal of experience of advising clients from all walks of life. He has a great deal of knowledge around welfare benefits and debt. During this time he also worked in a number of projects around money management as well as working directly with local authorities around localised social welfare.
Further he competed in the 2014 FDI Moot representing Northumbria University which allowed him to travel to both Argentina and California to represent them.
