Tanya was a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and qualified as a solicitor in 1995. She was formerly a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel and a Resolution Accredited Specialist
She joined Amicus Chambers in 2016
As a solicitor, Tanya specialised predominately in care cases representing guardians, parents and other interested parties. She became a member of the Children Panel in 2011.
Upon being called to the Bar, Tanya has continued and developed her care practice. She acts for local authorities, parents, and guardians, and other interested parties in public law and private law proceedings. She has been briefed to represent parents with learning difficulties and has represented the Official Solicitor.
